Periodic Table
Unbiunium, also known as eka-actinium or more generally as element 121, is the hypothetical chemical element with the symbol Ubu and atomic number 121. Unbiunium and Ubu are respectively the temporary IUPAC name and symbol, which are used until the element is discovered, confirmed and a permanent name is decided upon. It should be the first of the superactinides, and the third element of the eighth period: by analogy with lanthanum and actinium, it could be considered the fifth member of Group 3 and the first member of the fifth row of transition metals, and would be part of the g-block elements: it would be the first element in the classification to have an electron in a g-underlayer in the ground state, at least by application of Klechkowski's rule.
