Periodic Table
Unbinilium, also known as eka-radium, or more commonly known as element 120, is the hypothetical chemical element with the symbol Ubn and atomic number 120. Unbinilium and Ubn are respectively the temporary name and symbol of IUPAC, which are used until the element is discovered, confirmed and a permanent name is decided upon. It is intended to be a block s element, an alkaline earth metal, and the second element of the eighth period. It has attracted attention because of some predictions that it may be in an island of stability, although more recent calculations predict that the island is actually at a slightly lower atomic number, closer to copernicium and flerovium.
